Latest projections entering first round of 2026 NFL Draft

The first round of the 2026 NFL Draft takes place on Thursday night. It would seem that Georgia is going to have a smaller pool of draft picks than in recent years, with only offensive tackle Monroe Freeling seen as a lock to go in the first round.

Per ESPN's Field Yates, Freeling is projected to land with the Cleveland Browns with the No. 6 overall pick. Other popular landing spots for Freeling include the Los Angeles Rams with pick No. 13, the Detroit Lions with pick No. 17 and the Pittsburgh Steelers with the No. 21 pick.

Other Bulldogs to watch tonight include Christen Miller and CJ Allen, as they could sneak into the back half of the first round.

Georgia sent 10 players to this year's NFL combine after having 13 players taken in last year's NFL draft.

The draft begins at 8 p.m. ET. The second and third rounds are set for Friday and rounds four through seven will wraps things up on Saturday.
