Polls in Georgia’s Republican Senate race show the nomination is up for grabs.

Nearly every survey — including The Atlanta Journal-Constitution’s own poll — shows a plurality of Republican voters have not made up their mind if they will choose U.S. Rep. Buddy Carter, U.S. Rep. Mike Collins or former football coach Derek Dooley.

Incumbent Democrat Jon Ossoff is running unopposed and focusing on raising money.

Collins has led most polls, but his highest level of support was only 36%. If a candidate does not cross the 50% threshold, the race will go to a runoff.
